What an extraordinary month it’s been!

First off, I’m sure you all know by now that Judge Janet Protasiewicz came out on top of the February 21 primary for the Supreme Court, exceeding almost every expectation. Right here in St.Croix County, the combined votes for the two progressive candidates won almost 51% of the vote compared to the conservative candidates with 49%. That’s the first time St. Croix County has gone blue since the 1990s. The pattern held stronger across the state with a final tally of 54% for the progressive candidates and 45% for the conservatives. It’s further evidence that Wisconsin is so gerrymandered we can win a state-wide election but somehow our legislature is dominated by conservatives.

Credit goes to you, the progressive voters of St. Croix County! The next challenge is to get Judge Janet elected on April 4 along with an expanding slate of progressive candidates running for municipal and school board elections. St. Croix County Democrat volunteers and leaders have been hard at work creating opportunities for you to help get out the vote and support common-sense policies that build our communities. Our opponents continue to espouse MAGA-inspired grievances and disinformation along with exploiting divisive social issues to undermine and create fear in voters. Don’t let them get away with it.

SCC Dem volunteers have been working hard to create opportunities for you to help bring common sense back to our state Supreme Court, our public schools, and municipal and county government. Now is the time to step up and make a donation, come to a meeting, volunteer for a canvassing or phone bank shift, and talk to your family, friends, and neighbors about the importance of voting on April 4.

We can’t let up for a minute.
