St. Croix County and State candidates

Endorsed and Recommended Candidates

Maria Rudie

I am running for re-election to the Hudson School Board to continue serving our students, teachers, families, and community.

Our public schools are the heart of Hudson - places of learning, connection, and opportunity. During my time on the Board, I have worked to keep students at the center of every decision while planning responsibly for the long-term strength of our district.

I believe our schools are strongest when we work in partnership. I value the dedication of our teachers and staff, and I am committed to open dialogue and collaboration with families and community members.

I invite you to join the conversation. Visit the Issues page [of my website] to learn more, and join me for Coffee and Conversations as we work together for Hudson’s schools.

I hope to earn your trust and your vote.

School Board Candidates

Megan Rozowski

I was elected to my first term on the Hudson School Board in 2023.

I believe good decisions start with listening. I am a data-driven leader who values open, respectful conversations and is focused on doing what’s right for kids and our community. I approach discussions with an open mind, continually reviewing data and using evidence to make informed decisions.

As a school board member, I am committed to putting students first while also supporting families, teachers and staff, and being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars. I strongly believe every child should have a quality education that meets their individual needs. Each student should have the opportunity to pursue the path that fits their interests and talents—whether that means college, the trades, or something in between.

Professionally, I work in higher education policy and research and currently serve as Director of Research and Policy Development at the Minnesota Private College Council. I bring this experience to the board to help ensure decisions are thoughtful, informed, and focused on long-term success for students.

I earned a B.A. in Economics from Carleton College and a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
