New maps

In December 2023, the Wisconsin Supreme Court declared that the Republican-drawn and gerrymandered maps were unconstitutional.

In February 2024, Governor Tony Evers stood good on his promise and enacted fair legislative maps. Governor Evers states:

“Wisconsin, when I promised I wanted fair maps—not maps that are better for one party or another, including my own—I damn well meant it. Wisconsin is not a red state or a blue state—we’re a purple state, and I believe our maps should reflect that basic fact.”

As Wisconsinites living for more than a decade under the most gerrymandered maps in the country, we welcome these fair maps.
