Volunteering for the Democrats

NOT A DEMOCRAT BUT STILL VOLUNTEERING

I am an independent voter. I watch politics closely and it is crystal clear that Joe Biden is running for another four year term for President to serve the American people whereas Donald Trump is running for Dictator for Life to serve himself.  We should all be terrified of a Trump dictatorship! That is why I spend time each week volunteering for the St. Croix County Democratic (SCCD) Party even though I am not a Democrat.

 The SCCD leadership is dedicated, determined, and work incredibly hard. But more volunteers are always needed.  Bring your knowledge, skills, abilities, and interests and work with leadership to figure out how best to volunteer.  Go to the first page of the SCCD website to sign up.

 I have met great people, made new friends, and had some really good times volunteering.  And no matter the outcome, after the election I will either know I helped save our democracy or have no regret that I did nothing while our democracy was stolen.  The words of the Irish statesman and philosopher Edmund Burke are still true today: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”.
