Trusted Trio For St. Joseph Town Board

This letter to the editor, by Peg Audley, appeared in the Hudson Star Observer on March 20, 2025.

On April 1st we have three town board candidates to elect in St Joseph Township, Theresa Johnson, incumbent Chair, Chris Marshall, incumbent Supervisor 4 and new candidate Dawn Kameo for supervisor 2. This trio brings common sense and honesty, with no personal agendas to the table except to be fair minded, preserve our rural character while planning for the future, and to be mindful of the town budget.

I have watched Johnson and Marshall be able to hear individual’s concerns and weigh against ordinances and community needs. The new town hall is progressing under budget, the town comprehensive plan adhered to, town taxes remain low. Kameo is a veteran who presently serves as a St Joe firefighter and EMT. She clearly believes in service.

We are fortunate that we have these three trusted non-partisan folks willing to take part in our local government, let’s show our support at the spring election on April 1st.
