Our Choice

This letter to the editor, by Everett Fuchs, appeared in the Hudson Star Observer on January 22, 2026.

Corruption, chaos, and cruelty do not make America “Great.” We need honesty, tranquility and kindness instead. We can strongly resist the former while choosing to practice the latter in our daily interactions with our neighbors, with strangers, and even with those who have differing values. This would be consistent with the teachings of Jesus.
