Vote “No”

This election, your ballot will include three proposed constitutional amendments. The Democratic Party of WI urges you to Vote NO on all three.

What’s this all about?

According to former WI Democratic chair, Ben Winkler, Republican politicians are using these amendments as a political tool because they recognize their grip on power is waning under Wisconsin's newer, fairer legislative maps and their support of an increasingly incompetent, corrupt and unpopular President. He argues that they are trying to "cement their extreme agenda into Wisconsin's Constitution" and that the measures will only make state government "more difficult, more bureaucratic and less responsive" to the needs of ordinary citizens.

Just as we have seen with previous proposed Constitutional Amendments, the language in these GOP ballot questions are confusing. That’s by design.
