United Way’s ALICE Initiative

Steve McCarthy, Executive Director of United Way St. Croix Valley was our featured guest at our February monthly meeting. Steve shared information on the ALICE Initiatve. ALICE is an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Contrained, Employed.

This describes many of us at some time in our life and many others who live daily knowing that they may be one flat tire away from having enough for their next grocery run.
