Message of hope for my granddaughters
On Father’s Day I reflect on the impact my values had on my children and now my 5 granddaughters. I decided to write each of them a message of hope and my wish for their future.
Dearest granddaughters,
This Fathers Day I want to share a special wish for each of you— a wish that comes from the deepest part of my heart.
I wish for you the strength and the courage to stand up for your rights. Your bodies are your own, and you have the undeniable right to make choices about your health, your future, and your well-being. May you never feel powerless, and may you always have the freedom to decide what is best for you.
May you live in a world where your reproductive rights are respected and protected. A world where you have access to comprehensive healthcare, education, and the support you need to make informed decisions. I hope for a society that honors your autonomy and values your voice.
I wish for you the knowledge and confidence to understand and advocate for your reproductive health. Empower yourselves with information and never hesitate to seek out the resources you need. Trust in your ability to make decisions that align with your values and aspirations.
May you live in a world where allies and supporters stand with you in solidarity. Surround yourselves with those who respect your choices and advocate for your rights. Together, you are stronger, and your collective voices can bring about meaningful change.
I hope you always feel loved and supported. Know that I stand beside you, unwavering in my commitment to your happiness and your freedom. My love for you includes the hope that you live in a world where your rights are upheld and your choices respected.
On this Father’s Day, I celebrate the incredible, strong, and independent women you are becoming. Your future is bright, and my greatest wish is that you live in a world that honors and respects your reproductive rights.
With all my unwavering support
Grandpa John Krizek
I urge all fathers to join me in fighting to restore for our daughters the CHOICE their grandma and mom’s had.
