Kim Dupre speaks to group about rural water in St. Croix County

On 7/13/2023, the St. Croix County Democrats sponsored a presentation by Kim Dupre, a local water advocate. Her story begins on her rural farm in Emerald, WI, and continues through the issues she has experienced as a land owner with a well next to a CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation) and a manure digester. Kim also speaks to the recent area manure digester applications and their proposal. Her presentation focuses on issues with excess nitrogen and phosphorous in our waters, lakes, and groundwater.
