  • Environmental Justice: Recognizing the disproportionate impact of environmental hazards on marginalized communities, Evers has championed environmental justice initiatives. This involves addressing environmental inequities and ensuring that all communities have access to clean air, water, and land.

This includes investments in green transportation, energy-efficient buildings, and natural resource conservation.

  • Evers signed Executive Order #38, which established the state goal of ensuring all electricity consumed within the state is 100 percent carbon-free by 2050. In signing Executive Order #38, Gov. Evers also created the Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy, charged with developing the Wisconsin Clean Energy Plan

These initiatives represent just a snapshot of Governor Tony Evers' efforts to address environmental challenges and promote a more sustainable future for Wisconsin. His administration continues to pursue policies and actions aimed at protecting the environment, mitigating climate change, and ensuring a high quality of life for all residents of the state
